Default '98 Z28 vs. '06 is350

I just raced a Lexus IS350 from a dig with no real attempt at a launch (didnt think it was needed) and only beat him by 1/2 a car. I was real surprised how quick the car was. It was uphill with a little curve, I had myself and a passeneger (~420 pounds total) he was just by himself. I shifted before redline and spun the tires a little in 2nd but barely came out with the kill. We went from 0-60.

With a good driver they are a high 13 sec car stock

I think the mags have them at 14.0@99.

i just looked them up. Its rated at 306 rwhp, 277 rwtq and ran a 13.9 1/4 m. 0-60 in 5.6. They look damn good too. Lexus did a great job with those cars

Yeah they're badass cars. I was tying to convince my friend to get one, I would love to pit it against my brother's new ride.

I don't like 'em.

I can see them 10 years from now, they look cheesy. Slow too.

You just need to mod your LS1 more. With the higher hp of newer cars modding becomes mandatory to stay top dog by far.

I think they're nice cars but i have never thought about racing one. I just figured it would be a waste of gas
