I rode in a 04 5-speed lowered/10.5" rim/X-pipe/Cat-back/pulleys/CAI Mustang GT tonight. If it was faster than my current car, it didnt feel it by much. I called the guy out for a later run at a 55 roll (his tires are bald) so I can get a feel for how my current ride compares with a car with ALMOST EXACTLY the same mods I would do if I bought it. As of now...BEAUTIFUL BLACK GT! he had, but speed felt the same as my 5.0. Not that impressed

YOu are such a panzy.......regardless of what you run. I personally don't care about your time slip...you are an arrogant loser that can't pry himself away from the mirror long enough to let the girl finish your manicure.

No they aren't. Terminators are mid-high 12's stock, with the occasional low 13 secound driver. I put them at high 12's-low 13's in my breakdown, only to not stir any trouble by people saying: "People around my area with Terminators run a best of 13.5, there is no way one can run mid 12's stock." I just didn't want to stir ****. But, to your response...they are not in the same league as us, stock vs. stock. It takes full bolt ons for us to even be in their league, and that is when they are still stock, which is rare to find a stock Terminator.

Sure, why don't I just pack up everything, take some time off work, travel
to where ever the hell you live and forget about my family for the time being
just to race some internet moron with zero credability.

Yeah...sounds great. Count me in.

Here's an idea...why don't you post a single shred of evidence that you
have a car. That's step one. Step two would be to post up something
that demonstrates your claimed 138mph traps.

I'll be the first one to give kudos where it's due if you indeed have a
car that runs almost 140mph.

...or you could just keep trolling, talking ****, then get yourself banned.

I am a stock TA m6 and raced a stock 05 black 5 speed GT. We both drove the ***** off of our cars and from 5- 80mph I had a car on him. from a 65-140 roll I had 2 cars on him. Just buy an LS1, go beat a mustang, go home happy you bought a fast car.

Technically, the Mach 1 is considered a GT with a 4V motor. The VIN code matches that of a Ford Mustang GT, except the engine code has an R to denote the 4V DOHC Motor.

Really?? I mean I didn't ever race one when I was stock, so I don't have much experience stock vs. stock, but I have always heard that it is a drivers race stock for stock.
I still wouldn't call them 'out of our league'....we run mid 13's with an occasional dip into the high 12's, they run low 13's to mid 12's...so, put a good driver in the ls1, an average driver in the hard to launch cobra, and I bet after 10 races it would be 5 to 5. Conclusion: driver's race.

Or you could put a good driver in an 03 Cobra and run a 12.6 @ 112 vs a bad driver in an LS1 running a 13.9 @104......thats a *** whoopin...Not that any of it matters.

But even in your example, the times could be similar but traps will be off a good 5-7 mph...which would be a pretty good pull.

I consider "leagues" to be by what a certain car runs stock. You see, LS1 f-bodies, 99 & 01 Cobras and 03/04 Mach 1's are in the same league, because they run 13 second quarter (low 13's-high 13's) mile times at the track stock. An 03/04 Cobra isn't in the same league because it, for the most part, runs 12 second quarter miles (12.5-12.9) for the most part. For the few LS1's that have dipped in the 12's, stock, there are very few. Here is what I consider to be in the same league, just to give you an idea, stock...

12 Second League:
'03/04 S/C 4v 4.6 Cobra
'05+ LS2 C6
'05-06 LS2 GTO
'01-04 LS6 C5 Z06

13 Second League:
'97-04 LS1 C5
'98-02 LS1 f-body
'04 LS1 GTO
'03/04 4v 4.6 Mach 1
'99 & '01 4v 4.6 Cobra

14 Second League:
'92-96 LT1 C4
'93-97 LT1 f-body
'96-98 4v 4.6 Cobra
'99-04 2v 4.6 GT

Does that help give you an idea of what I mean by "league" or "territory"? When I say "A car in an LS1's territory, stock..." I mean what is on my list for "13 Second League." The list I made is just an example of how I break that down. Sure, a few LS1 C5's and f-bodies have broken into the 12's stock, but for the most part that is rare and they are still considered to be 13 second cars stock. The same can be said for just about any car on that list. I'm sure LT1 C4's have broken into the 13's stock, but they are for the most part a 14 second car stock. I'm sure that is the case for every car up there.

But if you want to think an '03/04 Cobra is a drivers race, stock vs. stock, against an LS1...then go right ahead.
