yes. Hellion puts together turbo kits/systems incl. fabrication of tubing, brackets, etc. using turbonetics components. they specialize in Mustangs.

Thats the Hellion that comes to mind. Hell, I might even go with their kit on my next project, but I'm leaning towards a KB.

i met a guy with from kentucky with a 2v n/a saleen.

he forged the motor, cams, heads, and a 2.4 kenne bell, built trans, built 8.8 rear with 4.10s

showed me a dyno sheet, made almost 600hp and over 600ft lbs of torque, he was still breaking in the motor and didnt rev past 5500 during the pulls. im sure if there are a lot more people like him in the world and im sure there are plenty that will be willing to hand a cocky person like yourself, a nice *** whooping down the 1/4

and for people to compare the stock vs stock acceleration of a stang gt and an ls1, you might not have seen this vid i posted earlier

It is really simple if your looking at a good starting point get the ls1 it is fast as it sits and responds well to mods. I wouldnt trade my Ls1 in for anything else but another chevy . But if your looking to mod something like everyone else it is just going to be a personal decision on what you like . This has been said so many damn times anything can be made fast with cash flow so stock vs stock is kinda out the window if your plannig on building it up . I still say if you buy a ford buy a mach1 or a 03-04 cobra but since they are somewhat out of your price range you might want to stick to a ls1! and if you buy a ls1 dont buy a ragged out pos becouse it was cheap. You get what you pay for !

BTW, when did Mustangs start using Lids? And, if your car with a lid and flowmasters pulled a Mustang with headers, intake, 3.73's and a TB, pulled a mustang down low, then the guy couldnt drive.

I am not trying to disrespect mustang owners. A lot of my friends have them and they are ok cars. Still, from the factory they present absolutely no challenge to an LS1 car. While I will admit the Cobra is a really fast car and can beat LS1 cars from the factory, it also has a factory S/C. Take a stock cobra and a stock LS1 F-Body. Put an S/C on the F-body. Watch what happens. Bang for the buck, the F-body is a much faster car, responds better to mods, etc. I have raced lots of 4.6 mustangs. Every single one, stock vs stock or mod vs mod I have beat. I beat a bolt on 1999 GT with a stock 1999 SS. All I am trying to say is that the 4.6 car is much slower from the factory and will require a fair amount of work to beat an LS1 car. 260 fwhp is a far cry from where the LS1 is.

Mustangs are junk. I have raced lots of them, modded or not, with both of my cars. No matter what was done to them, they LOST. S/C, nitrous, H/C/I, whatever. Doesnt matter. A mustang owner better park it in his garage until it can grow some ***** if he wants to beat my new car. My old one was a 1999 T/A. The new one is a 2001 Z06. Mods are TSP 4 cam, ETP 215's, Fast 90/90, LT's U/D pulley, CAI, #42 injectors, RAM powergrip H/D clutch, 3.90 gears, SLP loudmouth, 175 wet shot. Best et 10.40's @138 with a 1.6 60ft. ANYONE with a mustang that wants to race come to New York and bring your title. We can race for titles. I need a winter car. This is an LS1 site!! Get the mustangs out!!! They have their own website dedicated to their slow cars.

Nice job not being an ***. I'd take that whole title bit out of there before a "real Mustang" gives you the yanking of your life. There are a lot of "junk" Mustangs that trap better than 138.

I'm fairly certain that Bassani fabs the tubing for Urist's kits (Hellion).
