Default Kennebell cobra Vs full-bolt on ls1

hmmm...i guess full bolt-on ls1 is no match for kennebell cobra (03-04) im not 100% what EXACTLY he told me but he has every goodies you can think of on his car. i remember he said he spent almost 20k on it. that is motor/tranny/rearend. he put down close to 780rwhp i believe. WITHOUT NOS.

anyhow here is the race. (NO BS)

from 40-120
from 20-100
from 50-130
= at least 5 cars or more. i couldnt read his license plate

lastly from a dig he put 3 cars on me till 100 and after that he put more than you can imagine.

i swear;i felt like i was in civic racing a ls1.

here is my mod

-Direct-Flo lid, K&N filter, Thunder Racing polished MAF ends, ported, filled and smoothed throttle body
-ls6 intake
-ASP UD Pulley
-Agostino Racing Stage 1 valve size with Stage 2 porting, LS1 casting, milled .030", REV stainless valves (2.02/1.57), Patriots gold dual springs.
-Agostino Racing oil pump
-TR 224 .563 cam on a 112 LSA
-Crane hardened pushrods
-TR6 plugs
-Grotyohann 1 3/4" long-tube headers with ball flange collectors and emissions fittings (these were one of Roger Grot's last sets produced)
-True Duals w/ xpipe and moroso spiral flows.
-O2 sims in rear
-Pro 5.0 shifter w/ LSS
-Cartek master cylinder, 2002 GM slave cylinder
-Textrila Clutch
-Weld-On LCA relocation brackets
-black ZR-1, Nitto NT555R, 275/40-17 tires
-Harlan shiftlight in driver's A-pillar
-Added Firehawk floor mates
-02 CD monsoon head unit
-Poly Trans mount
-BMR adj-panhard rod
-Ford 9’ Rearend with tru trac posi 3:89
-rebuilt T-56

close to 400rwhp

780 RWHP on a KB cobra without the bottle?, that sounds a tad iffy to me. Then again, I haven't seen every KB cobra out there.

Honorable death though. No shame in that one. Nice car BTW.

dont know man.. he was pulling hard; very hard on me. it was like me standing still. he told me that the motor was rebuilt/suspension was setup kinda like yours with soild axle and tranny was rebuilt as well. 200 shot wet kit i believe. 780rwhp WITHOUT NOS. maybe im wrong. i was too excited to hear anything what he said.

i remember when i raced turbo mach1 couple months ago and i got pulled hard but this was even uglier.

yall remember this race??

Yep...sure does. If it was possible to make 780rwhp with a KB and no
spray, I would've done it a long time ago.

780 definitely had to be on the bottle...So with all those mods your only "close" to 400 or over 400?

Good death! You both have awesome cars, very honorable loss there. But... though his was faster... I'd have to say your car definitely wins in the looks department

so you're not selling it?

what would you say is the most a kb and bolton cobra could put down? Im not really familiar with the big power setups on the newer cars.
