F430 (ferrari)

F430 (ferrari) pulling onto the highway (just got my Cam and LT's installed, running on a "rough tune")
I see this beautiful Black ferrari in my left hand mirror, as I merge, I see the nose jump up (as he down shifted)
he pulled up beside me at about 50, smiles
and I smile back as I drop it to 2nd and give him a quick roast of the tires
he hits it, I hit 3rd (get a little squawk) we're side by side til about 80 ish, then I pull half a car on him, shift to 4th he's almost even with me, by 130mph I'm 2 lengths on him
I let off, at about 100mph, he gives me a thumbs up and points to his ear
I give him a thumbs up back,
and carry on dataloging for my tune

GTO's are not fast, quick but not fast. Typical GTO's trap about 105-108mph, a far cry from a stock 120+mph F430.

Street and track are two different animals. Esp since the pig of a GTO can take a second to get into the powerband on the track and already be in the powerband on the street. Anybody who has ever driven a m6 knows that the sweet spot is the top of second
