ive never raced the caddy for money(yet), but I did race my old truck for money 06 ram diesel 4x4 about 500rwhp and won $250 against a 99 cobra, and $200 against a charger r/t.... but normally I dont race for money more for ***** and giggles, when I do race for money its because somebody needs an *** beatin for talkin **** about their bad *** car

It seem as if you come off like a douch bag if you wanna race for $$ but man, that makes things interesting. Extra $$ for more mods or to fix your broken rearend is cool.

I paid for college racing on the street and doubt very seriously if you would see someone that is trying to make a living at it posting on a forum, talking about mods, or about racing itself. That's the darker side of it. You shoot your mouth off and give something away, you lose.
On the other hand I have been to tracks in the Deep South where literally thousands of dollars were being waved about and wagered on the races. For the drivers it was fun and for some of the spectators. For some though, it was business and no fun at all.
For novices, I raced a guy one night for $500 and won. After the race I saw him talking to his wife with a baby in a stroller. It struck me he couldn't afford it. I skipped out so he didn't have to pay up. I realized then that when you are racing for more than bragging, for things like big money, you can get into situations where serious stuff can happen. Be careful out there guys and gals.

I have run in the past, but now I have way too good of a lawyer. And its not worth totalling my car to get away from a cop. I try to not ever race from a dig but send people to momma from a roll all the time. No money involved and usually its some Hemi truck or Charger or some ricer that thinks its funny to try on a Vette. I am sure someday someone will snap me off from a roll like I have done to so many others.

I race for fun. I don't care for cash or status. I actually prefer to race cars that are evenly matched or are faster. I hate running little Hondas and Toilets(Toyotas) that I can half throttle it to beat them. There's no fun in that for me.

I like racing for fun. Then later you hear about your own car through the loop "dude I heard your car has like a million horsepower cause you beat the douch with that cobra that had half a million horsepower and that ricer civic that ran 6's ....remember, the one with the wheelie bars!!!"
haha, people jock you when they see you kick another cars *** that is supposedly "fast." I also love racing when guys bring oher girls / girlfriends out to the races. It's always fun to make another guys girlfriend's panties wet.

I think its funny becauase I get guys that think that I have a stock Corvette with exhaust. It only takes a few seconds of WOT until they realize other wise!
