So has this race happened or are you both just flapping your gums?

If he's running a T-56, he's screwed. That TH400 / 9" setup of yours on slicks
will be very hard to overcome.

To say that "Mustangs can't hang" is just plain stupid though. Maybe his
can't, but I assure you there are many wicked Mustangs prowling the streets.
A buddy daily drives hist turbo 'stang and he's running mid 8's and traps
in the 160's. Let's be realistic here, you're car is very quick for a street car...
no question about that...but that's as far as it goes. Same goes for my
turd.

I say if you beat him from a dead stop, do what he wants and run from a roll...unless you're skeerd.

is his car a solid or irs? eithr way, i just want to say, enjoy your intial jump off the line and thinking youve beat him, then once his twins spool up twice as quik as your single, watch the magic that is boost on a DOHC engine. its insane.

and froma roll, watch the magic that is an auto sucking at roll racing with 150 less RWHP.

one last thing to the turbo camaro owner. Becareful, those RWHP numbers must be on low boost beacuse at 17 psi, any twin turbo cobra should be well over 700RWHP and on race gas....welll, thats were it gets REAL ugly lol. have fun tho and post a vid....u sure he isnt hustling you?

I've stomped many Ford GT's. They are beatable.

If I were placing bets, I'd put my money on the fbody because it's
setup right. I'm not familiar with the Cobras setup though other
than a twin 57 turbo kit.

I should have been more clear. Do the turbo sizes vary that much w/ each kit? Twin screws run between 590-640 all day, just thought turbos would be more AVERAGE +/- #'s, guess not.

The best part was the douche from San Diego not going to a track because its to far away. Last time I was living there, umm 11 months ago there was a little known track called Los Angles County Raceway that is about 2 hours from San Diego.
I guess I must be in the minority when it comes to driving a few hours to a track to run my car instead of having a no track time dyno queen.

lol where are these civics making 420whp? not with any civic motor/trans setup for sure. there's plenty of them making 80whp though. a civic making 230whp is a very fast car FWIW, at least in civic terms.

That thread blew up pretty damn fast! I go to sleep and wake up and it's already pages long with thousands of views.

But TondSS (Mr. President), CHINI's car is NO JOKE! He made those numbers on only 15PSI. Of course if he loses he is going to up the boost. And I think he said that in that thread.

But I've also seen a video of your car. Your car is nothing to mess with either. You're a lot lighter, but I think he's pushing more than enough power to compensate for the weight difference. That's a 135LB difference IF he keeps the boost at 15PSI. But I'm sure you can just up the boost also. I'm looking forward to this race. It's gotten waaay too big and there is too much anticipation for it not to happen

Good luck.

What trans, rearend, and tire combo is Chini running? IMO...that will determine
the outcome of the race...not power level. That is, unless he cranks the boost
up to 25psi or so.

Chini's running slicks so my moneys on the Cobra and dont you think the Chini's a little out of your league??? He's going 133mph at 10.8 on 14psi and he's going to turn it up to 18psi for this race.
If I was closer to you, I think my car would be a better race for you.
