Just raced a 07 STI I finally raced my friend that has an 06 or 07 STI i dont know which its brand new either way. He did full exhaust from turbo back, BOV and some computer tuning handheld i think. It was strickly a drivers race i got the jump both times out of the hole and we stayed even after them i didnt pull away and he wasnt catching me. I think he might he got me with a good launch but it would have been CLOSE. My car has lid and exhaust on it.
and a ls1 doesn't?

Either way, those subaru's are ugly as hell. But to each his own I guess. Some men find other men attractive...i look at it the same way as that.

You guys think that the '06/'07 imprezas are ugly, just wait for the '08.

Tell your buddy to pull the bov and put the stock bpv back on. It is making his car slower. He needs to learn how to launch too, if you were getting him out of the hole.. he sucks. For the record, I cut a 1.7 60ft on a stock '04 STi with all season tires.
