Its true........ It needs to be solid, cause a newbie will go out with his LS1 and due to bad info, underestimate his opponent.
Nice blue mach(pics?)I always liked azure & sonic blue.
All GM boys should attend at least 1 Fun Ford Weekend.I did, last october at Firebird and its a hell of a time.Might free-up some objectiveness.
As well as the Ford boys need to attend a Super Chevy show.

Mach's are strong. They run low 13's stock and high 12's with barely any mods. Stock for stock its a drivers race with an ls1

i dunno much bout em, but i know they are pretty stout. they supposedly can run with an LS1, but i think the LS1 will slighlty edge it out! but i do like the black mach's for sure though!!

Nice to read all the props given guys......It's great to read it. Hell, I dont' think I have seen this much positiveness on machs even at SVTP.com.

FYI - for the member that mentioned it. Machs don't have "Y" pipes. They have "X" or "H".

but since its a drivers race you have nothing to settle. what you need is a clone to go with you to the track and go all out with the same knowledge of the mach as you have with your car.

Did one better..I owned a 2001 Camaro Z28!!! Loved that car and the thrid gear pull was awesome. I must admit one thing, it is nice to have more cubic inches......I guess in life that would not be a bad thing either. If you know what I mean!

I just went through about 300 time slips from our local drag-strip website trying to find a low 13 sec mach 1 for you guys. Not many of the mustang guys specify what type of mustang they have when they register.

EVERY f-body guy says Trans Am, WS6, SS, Z28, or Formula though.lol

This is just something that guys who get spanked by Terminators say...lol.

Raced one in my stock formula. He had an auto and me a 6 spd. He Killed me out of the hole but I pulled back and got him by about 2 lengths but i was shocked, they run much better than a regular GT.

lmao, this is why neither the f-body or the stang should ever be out of production . . . the rivalry is just too much fun

I've been gone from racing for so long I don't even know what a terminator stang is . . . find me one in central IL that wants to play with my lowly LT1

I believe the mach1 guys for some reason, low-13s stock seems very attainable
I'd still take an LS1 though

My buddy has an 04 mach with full intake, SLP LT's, X, pipe and slp Lm's, pulleys, and has a programmer.. We ran at atco dragstrip with my mods, Lid, catback, pulley.. and i trapped a 13.3, 13.1, 13.1, with an almost perfect reaction time, he ran shitty times of 13.6, 13.8, 13.5... i kno he could of ran alot better but this kid cant launch is car at all, i actually expected him to take me..and this was after him tellin me im not a good driver haha

I'm your huckleberry

I've said it before. We just haven't had the chance to line up yet.

I have a K&N intake, Shifter, flowmasters welded in and 4.56's though so I'm not stock. Let's hit up Redline Raceway soon (1/8th mile) or we'll go for it at the summer cruise at Ennis if you want.
