Theres a GT30R Evo around here that went 11.8 at 117 on pump gas. Next week hes taking it to the track with C16 and 28lbs of boost so It should be fun to watch.

gt30s suck a mean one. If i ever seen a gt30 make over 600hp on race gas, with no spray id sell my car for a dollar. They are crappy and noone should ever buy one. Why go gt30 when your just gonna wish you went gt35r.

hey jon again sick car n good race...nassaublue told me about the site so i thought i would drop in and say hi....i do like listening to other people talk **** but there all just opinions and it is just a car...

i have nothing to hide so heres the cars current setup

1997 Eclipse GS-T 6 bolt swap with .10 over stock bore , Ross 10-1 compression pistons, Groden Aluminum rods, knife edged and lightened crank, 2g head w/ stage 6 race port, 2mm over sized valves, titanium springs and retainers, FP stage 2 cams, AEM cam gears,Greddy timing belt, UR pullies, 1000cc injectors, AEM fuel rail, SS fuel lines, Walbor 255 HP fuel pump, full race FPR, Den Jon Tool Race FMIC (28X10.5x3) 2.5 lower IC pipes and 3 inch upper, Greddy type RS BOV, 75MM TB, Magnus sheet metal intake, FP3065 (GT30R) turbo, ported EVO III manifold, Tial 44mm WG, full 3.5 inch exhaust. AEM EMS, John shep stage 4 race tranny w/ quaife LSD ,Drive shaft shop stage 5 axels (700WHP axels) Greddy B-spec boost controller, MSD DIS2 , nology hotwires, NGK BPR8 plugs

the car made 370whp on only 16psi....im very happy with the car...its not the fastest thing on 4 wheels but i dont claim it to be either...the W/G currently only has a 7lb spring in it so i cant boost over 16psi...soon i will be putting a 13lb spring in and going back for some more tuning...on 20-22 psi id like to be in the 450 range...i figure for my daily pump gas cruise around town car thats not bad.....i seriously need to learn how to drive tho i will agree there

Nice setup man. You are really holding yourself back running it that low. That 3065 will love 28PSI on your setup. How are the 10:1 pistons working out though? Do you have to pull a lot of timing to make that work without knock?

for pump gas yeah i cant run near the amount of boost as i would like but with the lighter rotating assembly it revs up so fast ...its def a balancen act....once i get the W/G spring installed and raist the boost another4-6 psi the turbo lag should be very small

Nevermind that, how do you like those groden aluminum rods for the street? Have you checked on them recently? I hear after a couple of heat cycles they tend to stretch rod bolts and things such as this. Im looking at a set for my 6 bolt build. Do you run dsmlink?
