um, he'll kill you out of the hole, but you will get him by 1/8mile.

Nice kill, those trucks are stout!

he would do alot better from a dig, it would be real close and you might lose. Ls are pretty weak from a roll.

you might be a little off on your calculations. Ive raced a lot of them, and i find they fall off HARD after the 330 mark.

i find that inaccurate. lightnings do good from rolls and crappy due to bad launches, the rear has no weight on them

I think '03 was the last year because when they changed to the larger and heavier new body style for '04 they didn't want throw the extra weight on the already heavy truck. Nice kill, btw. I love those trucks. Almost traded the Z for on once.

meh, the later lightnings usually run in the 13.5-13.7 range(given good weather, and it isnt the middle of summer anymore), and respond well to bolt ons, especially on the intake side. mid to low 13s would be a good race for a mostly stock ls1, given an average driver.

^Haha you make me laugh with your desperation to make any Ford product look good. Lightnings are cool but no match for a LS1 car, it takes a pullied lightning to match a stock f-bod. Ive seen stock lightnings race stock ls1 f-bods and it is funny as hell especially from a roll, LS1>heavy trucks.

Yeah, from the times I've seen for Lightnings, they're more comparable to an LT1, not an LS1.

They trap 13.6-13.8 bone stock. Certainly a match for any stock auto ls1. I can't tell you how many I've seen run high 12s at the track with just a tune and pulley swap.

Edit: Assuming the latter years 03-04 (380hp).
