Got me another GT Except this one had a lil more ponies kickin.
Its an 2000 GT m5 with headers,gear,CAI,tune,and dumps(sounded mean!)
Well he is always running around here and kicking it in 2nd just to eat the tires off and show out. Well he started talking about Chevy's, then it lead to my car and him sayin he would spank me since he runs drag radials at the track.
So I finally caught up with him one day and I figured I would give it a shot no matter if he got me or not(cause I have headers an gear I havent put on yet waiting on me
)
We stop and he just yells GO! so I just dumped it and it spun like crazy and I back pedaled it, finally caught and he was about a car infront of me. Once I hit 2nd, I was at this door and pulling, then 3rd I was about a fender infront, then once I hit 4th I was about a car and was out running him but not too much. I ended up gettin him 2, 2 1/2 cars til about 110 and we had to slow for a curve ahead.
It was a pretty strong Pony though I will give him credit! My lil car keeps suprising me for a 98 M6 with 100k miles and only mods are a SLP flowpac and SLP loudmouth. Runs pretty good I think! haha Im gonna run him again once I get my stuff on and see what he thinks!

Nice kill. Yeah, I wouldn't imagine even with those mods that he's putting down anywhere near 300, probably 250-275 depending on the car. You should have somewhere near or a little more than 300 to the wheels in stock form, maybe a few more with the catback, plus I doubt he has any kind of weight advantage. Where you had to watch out was on the launch if he was on DRs. But it sounds like you drove well enough to keep him close and pass top end. Nice job.

Whats the BS call about? I have a video of it on my cell but you cant see too much at night from about 20 feet away. Couldnt get the camera in time! haha
