03 cobra vs 99 camaro Last night a buddy of mine and myself went to the drag strip. Well my first run of the night was a 8.2080 at 86.54 mph a little spin not to much. well i park it for about an hour. Were just watching everone else. i decide im going to go race again. Well in the 4 lane holding area a 03 cobra pulls up next to me and kinda grins and rolls his eyes. well im thinking "i hope i can wipe that smerk off his face". so he tells the guy that works there he wants to race me. so the guy starts laughing and is like hell ya! Obveously they were thinking it was over for me. We line up i do my burn out and get my nitto 555r's as hot as i can. we line up at the tree the lights go down then green light! i pull a 1.9009 60 ft and jump ahead of him and the whole way down i slowly pull and at the 1/8 i got him by about a car and a half. the time wasn't my best of the night but close it was a 8.2081 @86.63 mph he had a 2.1960 60 ft and ran a 8.4902 @ 86.21 mph. so the end of the night LS1 1 SVT 0

mods! I have sfc ,lca, intake, long tube headers, XXX tune,maf ,323's with some 285 nitto 555rs out back with 20psi in them and of course free mods, egr delete, no cats, and no air. not too much but enough.

Good kill/ run. This will likely go downhill once the Cobra worshipers come in and say he spun or couldn't drive etc. For the car guys that understand its racing and own Cobras no offense.
