Ran a TBSS this morning in the GTO. Its kind of funny how the other thread had popped up about a Mach ! losing by 2 cars from a roll and then I get this race.
I was turning onto my street and this TBSS jumps up behind me. When I turned I got into the far right lane seeing if he would jump up beside me which he did. He looked like one of those "start to go around someone and not start fair" racers so as soon as he jumped to my side I nailed it in second which broke the tires lose so he got about a car on me until it hooked up. I then pulled that car back and put about another car on him before we had to shutdown for traffic. So from the middle of second to the middle of third I pulled about to cars on this TBSS. Now I know there is noway in hell a stock one would pull a Mach like that.

Nice kill. It may have an LS2 in it, but that's still an SUV packing some SERIOUS weight. The way I think about it, you two are running the same powertrain basically, but he is well over 1,000 pounds heavier. Makes total sense to me unless he was heavily modded.

Well it might have been an auto Mach which is a high 13 sec car at best stock. Even so at 80+ I would expect an auto Mach to start pulling. No way will a TBSS pull a Mach 1 5spd unless it's spinning for days.

Sorry guys, Calling BS on the genius who thinks we can't take a Stock Mach!!! Look It Up!!! And on Another note, Mr. Cocky GTO Driver, You can come race my TBSS anytime, dig or roll

LOL way to dig up old threads. I never said I was cocky about anything just that a stock TBSS sint beating a GTO or a Mach 1. ANy car can be fast with money thrown in it. A friend of mine had a Civic that would rape the dog **** out of anything you have so whats the point? Oh and Ill tryand refrain from flying out to Iraq to race you.
