I hear that! Stangs just look heavy too! Not that its a reason why they are not as "fast" as they should be, but for the price of a GT500? Eh, no thank you! Ill take the uh, 08 Corvette thank you very much.

I'll actually be comming down there this weekend-fri/sat/sun
The wingless one owner is an older family guy and everything has to be right for him to streetrace, its just how he is. Hes a very cool guy and a few of us are always by his house, its just hes not a big streetracer.

Ill set something up with the green one if you want, hes BPU only. I should be getting my car back to 100% tomorrow so we might be able to line up.

I would say this race (while not very common) is believable, if the OP is running consistant low 13's, and the driver mod in the GT500 is non existant then why not.

I have seen GT500's pull some pretty shamefull times at our local track, although they are capable of mid 12's stock, thats in the hands of a decent driver.
The OP said himself he beat the driver not the car.

Get rid of the word "these" and leave it at that and it'd be even more accurate, lol.

Good kill against the sucky driver.

Easily believable with a bad driver in the stang.

Before I replaced my slave cylinder, it was leaking and I couldn't shift quickly. I ran a bolt-on auto from a roll (his best trap is 109) and I have a cammed M6 (best trap 114.5) and he stayed even with me (and even pulled a little on one race) because it took me like 1/2 second to shift. I think its easily believeable with an inexperienced driver in the mustang on the street.
