So I beat a new Shelby GT500...... They have a young guy(19yr old) who has a Blk GT500 thats well.....cocky is a nice way of putting it. Anyway, I grew up with im so hes a cool kid, I can't talk too much **** about him. Plus his mom is a MILF, OMG if you all only new.
From a dig, I beat him by about 4 cars up to 110. I couldn't make out the distance in my rearview.
From a 25 roll, this is where its interesting. Ok, so he can't really shift that great but I beat him by about 3-4 cars up to 115mph and I was pulling. From the start he jumped out about half a car then shifted, I passed and I kept pulling. Like a friend said, he expected the GT500 to real me in while it was in gear(inbetween shifts)but he didnt, it was a steady pull the whole time.
So IDK, I guess you can say I beat the driver not the car BUT him not catching me has me wondering.

Sorry---any half decent driver in a GT500 would kill you from any speed...I know a guy who has one.....cold air kit + DR's and he is in the 11's.

Probably a Shelby, just not a GT500, he would dust you, doesn't matter how bad he was at driving.
He would have to miss all his gears to lose. I mean, if you have a reallllly shitty driver they may go low to mid 13's at like 112. But you're not going to "pull" one up top.
Maybe his gas pedal broke loose, anything is possible!! hahahaha

No sense in racing him, he can't drive but we have cars that you can line up against. We had plans of going to the east but Hooters took forever and by the time we got out of there it was too late so we just went to Bonnabel Boat Launch at the end of Bonnabel in Metaire. You should show up one night, we got some people that should be good for you. You have track times?

Nah son, deffently a GT500. We were all in a parking lot with hoods popped when we set the race up. He was talking **** saying how he could beat any stock car in the parking lot so everyone turned to me and once he seen that he backd down so I was like whatever, and then about 30 minutes later they convinced him to run me.

Lol, I agree 100%. Plus Im the type of guy that if I'm talking **** and say a random ZO6 is in the lot behind a truck I didnt see then he comes up and is like, i'm stock, still wanna run or if someone else set it up, I would. Hes not, I rolled in the lot with some pretty badass cars, I'm one of the slowest in my group but i'm the only stock one too(I can still beat my boys modded S2000LOL), but anyway, we pulled in and he started calling 2 of my friends Supras rice rockets and **** then when they found out he wouldn't run them. Hes your everyday ricer with a fast car that he can't drive.

There seems to be alot of people who cant drive buying these cars.
The GT500 SHOULD have beat him, but the guy was a terrible driver. It would be tough for me to believe to exept that I raced one from a roll and beat him. The one I raced was a vert though with a heavy driver and heavy passenger but it still SHOULD have beat me.
Those cars are rockets...but even a rocket needs a driver who can use it to its full potential, I have no problem admitting that I should have lost my race with the GT500, but thats street racing.

I would not call it a rocket at all. The fastest magazine has it rated at a 12.6, and thats Mustang and Fast Fords. Every video i've seen of them or watched in real life they have gone anywhere from 12.4(only seen once) to a 14.0 with bad drivers. Most ofte times i've seen are 12.7s - 12.9s, not impressive at all if you ask me for a $60k+ Mustang
