Default Where can I buy rears springs?

I'm an old schooler and am looking to get some springs for my Firebird that will raise the *** end up by an inch. I can find every one and their brother sells springs for lowering, where do I buy ones for raising? I saw strange had some but have no idea what weight I would need.

Any ideas?

Eibach sells a drag racing kit. Drops the front with springs by a little bit, raises the rear a little bit, and includues an air bag to put in the rear passenger spring.

I'm not crazy about dropping the front anymore than it is, you know the clearance issues with these cars but I'll check out what they have, thank you!!

you could buy a set of lift blocks. those are easy enough to find.

Add a spacer in the rear or go real old school with air bags.

Lowering the front 1-1.5 inches isn't bad at all as long as you take nasty driveways at an angle. I've never driven my car NOT lowered, first with Eibach springs, then Stranos. Strano, Eibach Pro-kit, or Hotchkis springs in the front might give you the look you are after and would result in a fairly close gap on the front and still high in the back. Meaner look too IMO than just jacking the rear way up.

All I could find to do it was spacers by Global West Suspension, kind of what NHRAMAN was talking about. I looked at Hotchkis, Eibach and Lakewood and found nothing for lifting; only lowering. Eibach had an airbag drag kit but not for our application. I don't want to lower the front end at all. I lost a wee bit of clearance with the Kooks but I know what you’re saying Nighthawk. I noticed that Strange sells springs and I wonder if I just went with a higher than stock rate if it would work. Does anyone have an idea what our spring's stock weight, length is in the rear? I guess I could always pull one off and go to the junk yard and root around the truck spring and see if I can find some that will work. Anymore ideas?

Use a 98+ V6 spring with the factory 98+ isolator. If that's still not high enough, you can wrap some 1/2" ID heater hose around the top coil of the springs to raise it up even more.

Here is a picture of my car when it was on the factory 98+ V6 springs and 98+ isolators:

A little late to the game, but you can also replace the stock rear spring isolators with those from a third-generation F-body.. they will add about an inch to the rear.
