Default WS6 Springs worth it?

I'm thinking about buying a set of WS6 springs for my 96 just wondering if it's worth it. Does it do anything? Would it benefit me? Does it lower the car at all? Thanks

WS6 and SS springs on 98+ cars = 1LE springs. They are a little stiffer but they do not affect ride height as much as aftermarket springs.

Anyone want to recommend some springs that won't drop my car too much but still do a little? Pictures would be great. Thanks!

I thought that non 1LE WS6's and SS's used the typical stock V8 springs?

from 98 and up all base SS's and WS6's got all the suspension goodies that the 1LE's got except for the DA Koni's.

Koni SA....lower perch in the front, hose mod in the rear.

~1/2 - 3/4" drop and you'll have one of the best shocks on the market.

they are on sale now for the summer i think.

You can put the lower spring mount on the front Konis in one of two places. The lower "perch" lowers the car slightly.

My car came with 1LE springs from the factory and it sat a tad bit lower than my stock ride height '95 Formula did. It also had a pretty nice raked look to it, I would recommend if you can get them for super cheap like <$50.

Didn't the mid 2000 and newer WS6 cars get watered down suspension goodies compared to the 98-mid 00 cars?

Yes the 1LE springs were dropped from the WS6 Pkg in mid 2000.
Everything else remained the same.

after much thought and reading on this subject I think I'm going to remove my DMS springs and go back to the original SS springs. I just got Konis from Sam (fronts haven't arrived yet, but I got the rears). I'm going to do lower perch and hose mod. I think this will give me the best of both worlds, a little lower but great ride. If I lose anything in handling Sam says I can easily make that back up with new sway bars.
