Brembo pads are replaced through an opening in the back of the caliper. The pads are then secured using a rectangular spring plate and two drift pins. Evidently the CTS-V calipers do not come with the pins and spring. They have to be purchased separately.

Kits such as Stoptech, Baer, and Wilwood are typically between $2,000 and $3,000 for our cars, or any car for that matter.

I read through this whole thread, and I'm still a little confused about what exactly is needed. I get that you need the calipers, hardware, rotors, etc. I'm not sure if brackets are needed or not. Will these calipers clear my wheels (19x9.5 HP Evos, I think they have a 38mm offset)? Are there 2-piston Brembo calipers available for the rear brakes?

For the second question, yes, but I don't believe they simply bolt right in. Likely won't be a very economical choice.

For the first question, it would be close, but I would guess no. I had the HP HPR5s in the same size, which are very similar, but with the 3" lip, the face of the wheel sits in very far. I would get the ruler out and see how much clearance you have from the stock brakes to the Evos, and post that up to find out though.

I believe that EBC has their entry level blank for the ZO6, and I saw a centric blank listed on Rockauto, but centric's website does not show it so I am not sure if it exists.
DBA and powerslot/cryoslot have slotted rotors that are not drilled. That is what I am planning on using when I do mine.
