That's the plan. They're 19x9.5", and the offset is about 38mm, if I remember correctly. I remember reading some wheels would have problems fitting this brake setup if the wheels were too small or if the spokes curved inward. I'm not sure if that applies to my wheels though. I also remember reading that the 4-piston CTS-V calipers were smaller than the 6-piston version. I might be wrong though.

Yea they are smaller than the 6 pistons and the ideal offset for them to work was +38mm or smaller but everyone said there was no chance with a deep dish wheel thats why I asked. I would love to see it done but I feel like your gona need a big spacer to make it work. Keep us posted on any progress man.

Hello all,
I created a thread with the install details and pics for my 2002 TA with CTS-V calipers and 2010 Camaro SS rotors. I could not find a lot of details with folks using the 2010 rotors so I did a write up. Enjoy.

So my 18 by 9.5 C5zo6 rims want work offset is 57mm. Want to go with the zo6 calipers since they are easier to find then the CTS-V and I like them better. Is there a write up for using the Zo6 calipers in detail as the CTS-V calipers?

Um not sure what u mean by six padlets. I just need to know what all is needed for the zo6 6piston break kit. found the calipers for 650 on ebay. Need to get just the rotors and any other misc parts. Can I use my stainless brake lines I already have or do I have to change them as well?

These:

Instead of 2 big pads, the front use 6 little pads. Those are called "padlets".

I list some rotor alternatives here:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/suspensio...-kit-info.html
It's not up to date, so there may be more rotor choices out there.
In street driving I hear the stock 6 piston setup works nicely, except for some pads wearing faster than others.

My dad has the stock 6 piston PBR's on his '08 Z06 and they are excellent brakes. The 6 padlet configuration can cause some of the pads to wear faster than others but they make replacement 1-piece pads you can get now to replace the padlet configuration for better wear characteristics.
If you're looking for the ultimate setup (probably overkill), wait until some people start to experiment with fitting the 6 piston Brembos from the new CTS-V onto our cars. They use 15" rotors and the calipers look awesome, plus they have amazing stopping power.

So I just ordered all parts for CTS-V brake upgrade wesman posted here. I have C5 Z06 wheels that are 18 x 9.5 wheels. Everything I read online says there about 56-57mm offset. I'm a tad worried because after measuring spoke to caliper distance I came up with a number of about 5/8". 5/8 = 0.625" and 15mm Eibach spacer is roughly 0.6" giving me a grand total of a 1.225" new gap. Only reason I think I have such a small initial spoke to caliper gap is because my pads are almost 100% still so the caliper is pushed out as far as it ever will be. This is the only think I have not seen anyone consider when initially measuring the spoke to caliper gap. Am I wrong for taking this into consideration? or have we all overlooked this observation? Can someone please shed some light on my predicament?
