So there are a couple sets of 2010 Camaro SS brembo brake sets on the local craigslist. What all would have to be done to make them fit on a 2002 Camaro? Do you have to bore the rotors to fit the hubs? What off set and size rims clear them as well? I'm very behind the times having been out of the F-body scene for almost 10 years.

So with the vette rotors it sounds like it gives a little more clearance due to them needing to be spaced back to sit centered on the rotor.
That would explain why mine were so far from fitting with 17s and some others have done it with some grinding, because I used the camaro rotors that sit right in the caliper without spacers, but need machining on the hub to fit.

Yes they should bolt right up just as a v caliper would. Everything is the same, 2010 camaro ss rotors with the center bore machined or c6 zo6 rotors, pads obviously and stainless braided brake lines. They make them for this conversion at Flynbye.com

Are you referring to the clearance between my spoke and the caliper? Im assuming you've seen one of my posts in another thread. No because I have a one inch spacer.

Hey everyone, just wanted to throw in my 2 cents about the cts conversion.
I recently finished this whole setup according to how it was written except I went with stop tech slotted cryo treated z06 rotors and hawk hps pads. The stopping power was quite incredible over the stock setup, even though mine wasn't quite stock. I just had an scca event out in Daytona and got a chance to really use them. Only thing I wish I did was get some track pads to use on the track, everything held up great, but after about 15 miles of hard track use during the sessions, I could feel the pads getting too hot to bite as hard as they did early on, so I'd recommend a high temp pad. I also used motul dot 4 racing fluid. All in all it was an awesome day with an awesome brake upgrade, so a huge thanks to wesman for the write and pictures, it definitely helped out a lot of us!

Just finished my CTS-V brakes this weekend! I think they look great!... now to test them...
I decided to go with the Camaro SS rotors and get the center machined out to fit our hub.
Caliper and rotor when received
after painting logo
Mounted on car
Installed with 18x10.5 wheels offset 50

I like your custom stickers on them. Be ready to have your face pealed off when you stomp the stop pedal. I run the Hawk HP+ pads and the initial bite is unbelievable.
Ohhh and those two piece rotors are the bee's knees!
