Default Racing Brake Rotor special---98-02 brakes only: $375/set

Racing brake rotors are very high end stock replacement rotors. In fact unlike all the other 98-02 front F-body rotors, Racing Brake rotors are directionally vaned to pull more air through and run cooler. And it works... Last track day I was there with a customer who has an almost identical car to mine, and almost identical lap times (and the same brake pads too). At the end of the car, the car on the Racing Brake rotors showed about 25% less front brake pad wear.

I did a deal which allows me to sell a full set of 4 rotors for $375 vs. the normal price of $520. That's 2 directionally vaned fronts, 2 straight vaned rears for 98-02 cars.

I can also sell pairs of front only as I bought a few extra of those.... A pairs of fronts, for $200, but stock on fronts only is limited.

at the track day, what brand of rotors did he have in your examples?

I run the ATE rotor with HP+ pad and I've been rather happy, overall, with the combo.

Can you compare the ATE rotor to these you are selling?

I'll be stepping up to a track dedicated pad my next track day, but the rotors will remain the same. Even with the ATEs, I was getting a ton of heat stopping from 130+ mph each lap. I'm considering some cooling ducts as well.....I managed to burn off the piston boots, but from what I can tell, I didn't spread the caliper.

Right about $45 depending on the actual address.

ATE vs. Racing Brake.

The RB rotors have bigger slots that don't cake up with dust as much in a track/race pad environment. And they have the curved vane front rotors (and the base of every other vane on the inside diameter of the rotor sticks out to act as sort of scoop and help shovel more air through the rotor).

Don't get me wrong, I'm not stopping selling ATE's. It's just these are a screaming deal, enough so that where I'd normally reserve these for more serious track day or race folks, we can now sell them at a price competitive to ATE's--at least while I have them which won't be forever.

Still have some in stock 2 the sale price... Get them before they're gone. Can't beat the price on these. Save $145 for the set--and get premium quality, directionally vaned rotors. with a black anti-corrosion coating on the edges and hats.

Ironically thanks to Priority Mail Flat rate boxes... I can ship a set for about $65 that way in about 3 days. Parcel Post is about 12 days, and would cost *more*, about $75....
