Default Strange 12 bolt??? DO the wheels stick out more in the rear???

I just had my 12 bolt Moser removed and the new Strange 12 bolt put in after years of the torque arm bolts loosening. The rear tires hit the fenderwell which never happened before. Can this be adjusted out?? I do not want to roll the rear fender. I thought the strange would be the same exact width.

try a adjustable pan hard bar,if that doesn't work se if you can shave pad on back of wheel..if not you might have to fill-shave-redrill wheels...only other option's shorted rearend or 9"

They hit on both sides? If so I would measure the rear compared to the Moser if you still have it or a stock 10 bolt. But may just need to adjust with a panhard bar. ^^^ dont know what that guy is saying about grinding and shave wheels sounds retarded and very unnessary.

So adjusting the panhard bar pulls the wheels in closer to the car?

Do you have a adjustable panhard bar? Is the rear center in the car? Are the tires hitting the same spot on both sides or is it just on one side?

heres a few pics of my boys car same situation where dealing with @ our shop... wheels rub about a quarter of a inch on both sides.full suspension car
strange 2 bolt moser axles. The wheel is 10.5 inch wide wev'e adjusted the panhard as far as its going, the only option for him at this time is to change rearends-get rearend shorten-or being we have the technology to fill hole on wheel and shave pad as much needed to bring wheels in,then re-drill the wheel...We chose altering the wheel.....provide us with the width of the wheel and how much it sticks out! problem could just be adjusting the panhard...as i stated before!!

Thanks for calling me a "**** boy" and real mature. That sounds like a very unnessary thing to have to do There are more ppl that would rather not fill and shave if they have a nice set of wheels or whatever. You buy a rear it should be the length you order and it should be damn close and be dead on with a adjustment with a panhard bar

Just because I don't think anyone has made it clear enough :

An adjustable panhard bar will not help you if the wheels are hitting on both sides. It will only help you center the rear end.

Yes they are hitting on both sides. Mostly on the right and will try the panhard adjustment to see if it helps. I would hate to change up the wheels as they are nice ZR1 wheels all around.

Its because of your tires. I had those same ones and they run really wide you need to roll the fender lips to keep them from hitting. If they are hitting on both side and adj panhard bar will NOT help just think about it it move the axle side to side it doesn't make it narrower. It might make one clear the fender and the other will hit worse. Also is your car lowered?
