Default Strut Tower brace with FAST 102?

I want to buy a BMR strut tower BUT I read a while back that the FAST won't allow it to bolt on. With the OE ram air hood there may be fitment issues?

I have the 92mm FAST and a BMR STB and have a couple inches to spare. I dont know if the 102mm is any higher, but if not, then it will clear.

I think you will be pretty hard pressed to fit a FAST 102 under any off-the-shelf shock tower brace. I've seen a handful of pictures from various members on here that were trying to fit a STB over a FAST 102, and it wasn't working at all. The FAST 102 is way taller than a stock intake, and probably even taller than the 92 version from what I've seen.

Why do you want a STB? These cars don't have struts, most of the stresses are put through the K-member (from the lower A-arm).

Mostly it's just a show piece that adds weight to the nose.

Thanks Meent. If I recall that was the case. I just sent a PM to BMR just in case. I like that setup. I already have a BMR K member and I may do upper/lower C arms at the same time as the STB. Thanks

Thanks for clearing that up. That being the case, I was thinking about the simple bar, cut it and reweld the pipe. Although, I was thinking it may change the geometry and maybe not worth the work.
