Hey guys, I just had a a header,4000 stall and tune on my stock suspension car. What kind of suspension mods will get the car to hook a little better? Its a street car mainly with a few weekends a year of track time. What brands do you recommend?

Lower control arms and an adjustable torque arm would be two of the first things I would look at. Also tires will make a huge deal with helping out traction. We have a full suspension line up for the f-bodys so we could help you out with anything you need. Also you are pretty close to us and could come pick the parts up from us directly.

look at my mods. I still cant hook for ****. About to do front k-member, coilovers, relocation brackets, and take out more front end weight. It still wont hook.
That 4000 stall is gonna end up costing you more than you thought because to hook your gonna need tires. Then your gonna need a new rear end![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
The main reason im doing weight reduction to go faster, because I dont want to buy a new rear yet.

Oh man, im drained in cash. Im still breaking this converter in. I got my car dyno tuned and it made 361 at the wheels. Just hitting the throttle around town and the tires break loose like hell. My ol lady is going to kill me with all of the money I'm going to pour in this car.

How's the 4000 stall treating you though? I see u can't get **** for traction off the line, but does the car feel any better from a roll too?

From a roll it will spin, although hook up at anything under 50mph. Its a rocket man. Pushes you hard in the seat and doesn't let up. Just an amazing difference. If I mash the pedal from a stop, forget it, i can spin the tires all day with the crap tires I have on there now.

yeah. It sits in the garage 99 percent of its life though. and pay no mind to those dyno numbers in my sig they are ancient. I should probably take them down.
Its nice knowing you dont have to powerbrake to do a burnout. I instantly start spitting out thick white smoke from my tires (or whats left of them).
Damn car has to be somewhere up in the 11's with some traction. Not bad for stock cam cause I seriously baby it out of the hole even at the track. I got the performabuilt trans too. You cant even tell its shifting at normal driving with the stall at the right rpm. At WOT I feel like im driving a race car.
