Default Eibach pro springs, 00 SS

I just installed Eibach springs on my 00 SS along with BMR lca's and an Edelbrock adjustable panhard bar. Damn it sits low. More than I thought it would, but looks good.
I went out for a test drive and it handles good, nice and tight, but I lost alot of traction. Anyone else have that problem? Before the car would sit back and dig in, would hardly spin, but now it spins all the way into second. (a4) It's more fun at the moment, but I am fixing to drop in a new motor with a few more ponies and am a little concerned with traction at this point. I guess it's time for a tire upgrade?

You think the pro springs are low I have Eibach's sportline springs I'm lowered about 2" I'm looking at new springs.
On another note my car did the same thing but I have an M6 I ordered some umi lca, umi lca relocation brackets and sub frame connectors and it made a big difference in stead of spinning it digs and goes which is awesome. Hope this helps

Well maybe an adjustable torque arm, that way you can adjust your Pinion angle

I'll figure something out. Was just curious because most advertisements, etc say that you get better traction with the addition of lca's/brackets, etc. These tires might not be the best either. Bridgestone potenza's, 245/40/17's I think, would have to double check though.

Which hole are the lca's bolted to on the relocation brackets? I'd bolt it to the lowest hole if you haven't. If you think about it, traction was decreased so I wouldn't blame the tires just yet.

They are not in the bottom holes, I put them in the top so they were level with the car. I might try moving them. I don't get any wheel hop or anything though the way they are. You can definitely tell if you need new shocks when you change springs though, the rear end will buck big time when you hit dips on the freeway. Time for shocks.

Definitely use the lower holes! It's a must when lowered. That's why after lowering the ride height, traction got worse for you.

I think the sportlines lower the car an extra half inch or so more than the pro kit springs do. I haven't tried speed bumps yet, potholes I avoid as best I can, we don't have too many around which is good, dips in the road, I haven't drug bottom yet, but I need shocks. They made the rebound pretty violent at freeway speeds.

My car in my sig pic has sportline springs on it. They lower the car any were from 1.7-2.3 inches. I don't hit pot holes and I go over 4 speed pumps pulling in to my apartment but I just go over then easy and slow. If you plan on not doing headers and a 3 inch or bigger exhaust get them but if you do start looking at other springs. The sportlines that are on my car come on the car when I got it, I'm taking them off in a couple weeks and going with an inch drop spring either bmr or strano "I think I spelled it right". If your interested I'll sell you my sportline springs for a good price just pm me if interested

Since you have adj. LCA's I think a properly setup adj. torque arm will help you plant the rear better...

When i replaced my tires i was suprised how much that helped. They spun alof and they are bfg's i figured they wouldnt be that bad, but yeah got a new set and i can stop it and hook now. Im sure since you notice after the only thing that changed was your suspension, then it must be due to that, but if your tires are old you can be suprised how much better a new set will hook
