Default 500+rwhp with Konis or bilstein? Need feedbacks!

Guys, I've been searching a bit, and I'm hesitating between Bilstein and Konis. I know Konis are superior, but is it too much of a handling shock so it will hurt my grip more in acceleration?

Would it be better combined with stock springs or Strano?

I'm looking for the best compromise between handling/hooking for a street car.

Car is having traction right now on the jug with stock shock/spring setup in 2nd gear on the street with street tire(nittos 555).

any feedback from 400-550rwhp car would be very appreciated!!

There's a guy on here with a Procharged setup (I believe) that cuts 1.5x 60's with Koni's, so they do at least allow you to launch. I can't say which one is better than the other for grip....

You need better tires.....either shock will be fine IMO.

I know tires make a huge difference, but I wanna be sure that putting Konis wont hurt too much, with maybe lowering springs..

Pick what you want to do. Then build your car that way. You can't have it both ways. Well most of time. My friend built a 1000 HP to handle and with 10,5 slicks it will still kind of hook.

I have better traction since putting on my konis. I think you will be fine with either. Konis are adjustable which does help.

And with that kind of power on the street if you don't want the nose to shoot to the moon you want more rebound damping which Koni's can give but Bilstein's cannot.

Konis are adjustable to preference/handling/launching etc., Bilsteins aren't is what he is getting at I presume.

Nice feedback thanks!! 430rwhp are strong numbers, so I'll take your advice.

I must admit that my nose is shooting for the moon right now..which really suck; I feel like I'm aiming for the sky when accelerating.. Thank you for the advice Sam, we must arrange shipping to Canada when I'll order my Konis in May!

True, I love the option to fine tune the suspension myself..

Question is; should I get Strano springs or no... Since, my car is 110K miles, I think the stock one are getting tired..
