Default UMI Torque arm/tunnel brace bolts

I have a UMI tunnel-mounted TA w/ DSL. I went to bolt the tunnel brace in place and the stock bolts are too short, is it ok to use bolts from a hardware store here? I bought it used so Im not sure what came from the factory.

If its ok to use, can someone tell me the size? Im assuming its an m10x1.5 or so.

Thanks.

Hello,

You will have to use a M8 x 30mm bolt grade 10.9 with flat washers, even a over sized flat washer such as a fender washer is ideal for that item.

I hope that helps!

Yes, these are the (4) bolts that bolt into the tunnel area where the factory tunnel brace was.

9/16 x 7-1/2" are the the two rear bolts that attach the torque arm to the rear end. You most likely will not find these at a hardware store and will need to buy them from a suspension company like us or similar.

I hope that helps!

I confirmEd with midwest chassis, bmr and umi that the driveshaft tunnel brace bolts are m8x1.25. Stock length is 25 or 30mm, but buy whatever length you need.
