Question SLP Bisteins users results?

I have a stock low mileage 98 TA WS6 which I am keeping stock save for easily reverseable changes. I am looking to improve handling over stock with some better shocks. I have had good luck with Blisteins's on my vettes. I was wondering if anyone had tried these shocks/struts on their car and their results.
Thanks in advance

I'm happy with mine. I did springs (Strano) at the same time so I can't say how shocks alone will feel but my car's ride feels more planted overall now.

I have them and they have worked great except in very cold weather. (20 degrees below 0 F and colder) In the really cold weather, they freeze and feel like they are made out of solid granite - very hard to control the car.

Maybe this was an issue with the stock shocks, as well - but I don't recall it.

if you are doing the fronts beware of the shock mount being rusted to the shock shaft. you might want to look for new ones before you start. i have the gm part numbers since i just replaced mine about two weeks ago. i will post them here later on when i find the tags.

I just put some on my car with stock springs, and I noticed a lot of difference in handling. I had to replace both of the front shock mounts as they where in bad shape. Make sure you have a extra 150 or so in the budget for new ones. You will be happy with them. Strano does seem to have the best price on them too.

I put them on with the Hotchkiss springs and took the rears off almost
immediately. Too harsh. Fronts are OK.

From what Ive read, they're a decent upgrade for handling, but don't do much for drag racing. I'm sure strano will step in here at some point.

I replaced the stock ones with the SLP's and Eibach Pro kit combo and like them so far.

I bought a set of 4 from ws6store. I have only installed the rear shocks. But, I will tell you that I noticed a night/day difference from changing the rear shocks alone. The blisteins are stiff. The old shocks were the decarbons, which were completely shot and caused the rear to feel smooth over bumps. I don't believe the previous owner ever changed them. They have 13x,xxx miles.

I like mine.....Mine came stock on the car and I have been pleased with the ride. Rear springs (SLP Eibachs) could be a little firmer but thats not the shock's fault.

I have the SLP Bilsteins along with BMR springs. I don't think they are too harsh. The car rides smoother now than it did with the stock springs and shocks. I think the fronts are perfect. The rears are a little too soft for use with lowered springs, but will probably be perfect with stock springs. But then, my car is a vert and the verts weigh a couple hundred pounds more. I think a lot of that weight is toward the rear, so maybe that's why the rears feel too soft to me.

The Bilstein HD's are valved for stock height springs, the SLP Bilstein's are valved for the .75" drop of the SLP branded Eibachs. The SLP Bilstein's are also less expensive at many vendors.

I just installed a set of the SLP Bilsteins on stock springs last week.

Good advice on planning to purchase the mounts -- almost everyone ends up needing to replace them.

The ride quality was a noticeable improvement. Before the car just felt loose over bumps and around tighter turns at speed, however it's definitely tightened up.

Just put them on with Vogtland Springs, I can say the car is much stiffer and tighter. The bumps, potholes, etc are more noticeable. Not as comfy as a ride, but you are on a nice road it is awesome. Overall a very, very nice shock.

here are the part number for those shock mounts, i dont know if they will be different between years and suspension options or not so you will have to check. 22146934 & 22146933.
