Default UMI solid mounts with UMI k member

Just got done installing the new UMI solid motor mounts. These pieces are great. Theyre noticeably lighter than the stock mounts. The install went pretty easy as I did them with the motor in the car instead of before I installed it.

Looks good!

And these things are a bit hard to install while the engine is in the car... good job on getting it done.

do solid motor mounts make it harder to lower the rear of the motor to remove a trans?

yup, they do.. you could always pull the intake to get to the top bolts if need be though.

The mounts were an after thought with this current build. We left the stock ones in when we installed the trans, then swapped them out for these pieces.

You could also pull the long motor mount bolts out to rest the motor lower on the k-member, that might help.
