Default where to buy new stock caliper parts.

i'm looking to get some new oem parts, doing a rotor and pad install and i went ahead and tore downthe caliper and found some problems..

anybody have a place that can get me a decent price on these parts? i have no part numbers so i'd have to go off of description.. or is my best be to go to the dealer?

i need (so far) an anchor bracket and a guide pin (rusted together) also two guide pin boots(cracked)

A GM part counter is about your only recourse ...

I did an install document on a caliper rebuild on installuniversity.com. It has the part numbers for the seal kits.

I don't have the abutment bracket, guide pin or dust boot part numbers, though.

one pin on each side was frozen rusten into the brackets! grr that will probably set me back over 50 bux.

i see now that your install details the exact same way i figured out how to do it on my own lol.
also stripped the nut on the passenger rear brake line, so i guess that whole section has to be replaced now

Post exactly what parts you need and I can get you part #'s. gmpartsdirect.com has always been the cheapest for everything.

Keep in mind, they're still relatively expensive. Might want to troll a few classifieds forums to try to find em. I'm pretty sure the calipers were at least $75 a piece, and the brackets $50 a piece. Or more. Probably lots more, now that I think of it.

David, I have all four calipers in EC. Give me a shout if interested, have everything you need and I'm close by you.
