Default Confused about brake lines

I am trying to order some stainless steel brake lines, but I am a little confused. Is there a difference in the lines between the 93-97 models and the 98-02? I see different sets but they seem to be sold as seperate sets instead of 93-02.

Here are the ones I am looking at but would like to know which ones I should get. I don't have traction control.

this is for 93-97

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/rus-692260/overview/

this is 98-02.. but camaro specific?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/FRONT-REAR-SET-STOPTECH-Stainless-Steel-Brake-Lines-hose-STL27875-SS-/131293982895?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3ACamaro&hash=item1e91bb30af&vxp=mtr
and then just 98-02 firebird

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ru...rd?prefilter=1

Thanks for help in advance.

i have the first kit you linked on my car since it is a 94. since there are seperate kits for 93-97 and 98-02 cars, then i would assume that the lines are different. since you have a 00 trans am get the kit for 98-02 firebird/trans am, the last kit you linked. not sure where the confusion is here..

Ah... Forgot to link another set that claimed it fits 93-02.. But that's where the confusion came from.. Didn't want to order a kit that doesn't fit.

Another important aspect to consider will be 3-channel or 4-channel ABS.

Good point. From my understanding cars with 4 channels have traction control and cars without traction control is 3 channels. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

This was the set that confused me initially about compatibility:

After reading hokeplays comment I just ended up getting the 98 specific set from Russel. I hope that these lines are the better set compared to the others.

That is correct.

If you have any issues with the Russel lines, you should check out RPM Speed's setup from sponsor WS6store.com

the only problems i had installing the russel lines were that some of the factory hardlines were corroded pretty good and i had trouble seperating them from the rubber lines and now have to re-do some of the hardlines, but my car had been driven in the winter in the past (not by me) so you shouldnt have any problems with that being in FL.

IIRC the fittings are different from 93-97 and 98-02 so make sure you get the LS1 lines. It seems like when I installed an LT1 10 bolt in my car, I had to swap the brakes AND the lines due to bubble vs double flare inconsistencies among the model years.
