Default How many miles on your original brake pads?

Just wondering what kind of mileage people have on their original brake pads? I have just at 40k miles on my originals and original rotors.

I made 34K on stockers, but I had a lot of high speed braking. At 61K + I'm still running on Powerslots & Durastops up front. Rear brakes still stock, though.

I changed my pads and rotors at 40k. Rotors were shot, but the pads still looked good. Put new ones on just because. My rear ones are still factory, too (48k).

I had over 60K on my factory pads. I replaced them all when I installed Baer Eradispeed rotors. The pads were probably just fine, but those blasted factory rotors weren't worth a crap!

I got a whopping 13K out of my stockers, before they had to be replaced. Definitley one area the f-body could have been better.

I got over 75k miles out of all four factory original pads on my '87 IROC Z28 350 and they were still working fine (pedal a little low ) when I sold it.
Got over 34k out of my first LX 5.0 as well and they were fine when I sold the car.
Both cars were drag raced and autocrossed a few times.
Both were automatics.
Looks like my LS1 Z28 might just yield the same results I think.

My rotors and pads were replaced by the dealer at 10,000 miles. That's front and back. They sucked, bad. As a matter of fact, I just came back from Autozone with a new set of rotors 5 mins ago. This is my 5th set of brakes on my '00 A4 Z28.

My '98 Camaro had over 52000 miles on it when I traded it on with the original brake pads and crappy rotors.

My 2000 Silverado 1500 has about 55000 miles and all four of the factory brake pads have about 70% left. They should go to at least 150000 miles in my opinion. Rotors are fine too. I am not easy on the brakes either.

65000 on the stock back ones. I would like to know why my front ones are grooving and wearing a lip on the edge of the rotors.

I have 82,000 miles on my 99 truck and they are great, still originals that is. Last time my truck was serviced, they said there was still 50% left on them.
