cheap drilled/slotted rotors
Can anyone recommend where to find a full set of CHEAP drilled and or slotted rotors that will be a direct swap with the stock rotors off my 02 ws6.....

My friend bought some rotors for pretty cheap. $200 for the whole set. Slotted, drilled, and zinc plated. I'll have to PM you because it isn't a sponsor on this site.

Before I bother with a pm, do you...
a) own an electric or at least 14 volt drill?
b) have a dremel tool with 6,000rpm capacity?
c) have a steady hand?
d) have any desire to chrome plate the rotors?

This is where absolut_speed is going with his DIY approach:

(Dont what absolut_speed said in that thread, he was joking.)

you either chose between braking effeciency or bling-bling... I'll vote for brake efficiency/safety any day.

815, were they baers? they are cast w/ holes arent they?
I've got wholesale direct slotted only bendix rotors.
Dont want drilled, just more of a chance of problems IMO.
Slotted doesnt help either, so dont bring up the 'gases escaping' crap.
I just got mine for a little different look i guess..
tons of info posted by absolut/trackbird/mctullis/mitchntx, etc.

You can spend the 200 bucks for cheap rotors or you can save a few more dollars and get your slef a big kit rom stoptech or brembo or baer. Having a rotor that is both drilled and slotted isnt gonna be as efficient as a just drilled or slotted rotor. you need more surface area to brake faster, plain and simple.......but a slot or hole here and there might help with the cooling though thatis also subjectible....
