I need to know which is better stuff, and if it's worth the extra over the lesser brand if it's just going to be a street car.
Thanks

I've never used G2, but I do intend to get their lowering springs. I did have BMR on my 2001 SS & the fit & quality is great. So why pay more for basically the same product quality? I have a BMR STB on the way for my WS6. My vote is for BMR.

For a street car? Get BMR. If you were even remotely serious about racing, i'd probably get G2 just 'cause they know there ****!

Don't say you'll never "race" it. I know I ate my words.
Believe me when I say there is a difference in these parts. I learned the hard way and wasted a lot tires and money finding that out.
Look for a package that is designed, engineered and PROVEN on an F-Body. The G2 stuff is all that ... and more!
How often does Brett Rockey, John Hotchkis or Andy Granatelli come in here and spread their thoughts and wisdom?
Lou Gigliotti pops in here all the time. Of course, racing season is a couple of weeks away from beginning, so he's not quite as accessible as he was. But, look at value and not just price.

i'm going to have to say G2... i have parts from both of those shops... the G2 stuff is better quality if you ask me... they just don't offer all the pretty colors
forget about that idea of, 'my car is only a "street car" so it doesn't really matter that much'.. that just doesn't seem to be the way it works... buy the best stuff from the begining
i used to say the same thing.. "i'll never race it man!" yah, well.. i wrecked it($8k in damage)... and the purity is gone... now it's fixed, and it's not even close to just being my street car anymore.. it's my race car -- now if i just would've bought the very best from the begining, i'd be a little farther ahead

personally, I'd go with G2. of course I may be a little biased. I live 5 miles from their shop, and as someone stated earlier, they know their ****. besides that, they are a great bunch of people to deal with. nuff said.

This car will only and forever be just a street car.
I have plans to build another car JUST for the track, however it too will be street drivable, just hopefully in the 9's.
This car now I just want to be a very very good street car, no need for top-of-the-line stuff.
Thanks for the help and info.

Get the G2. I shelled out the cash for chrom moly BMR lower control arms and saw no gain in traction or no loss in wheelhop. I'm about to sell them and get a set of G2s with the poly/rod end combo. BTW, these are going on a 100% street car that already has SFCs. But I would get the STB from BMR.

I swapped out my BMR lower control arms with some LG Poly/Heim ones and the quality is excellent. I also installed an LG torque arm and was very pleased with the construction and quality.
Oh yeah, the LG poly/heim adjustable LCAs are sweet!

I'm getting the Hotchkis STB, I've heard from everyone so far it's by far the best 2 pointer out there and it looks better than all the rest.
I'm going with the G2 set-up.
