Hey, you got any pics of the mounting bracket? Does it come painted/coated or plain? Does it replace the stock one or what?
The big question is (drumroll)............what were you using before and can you tell a difference?
Thanks!

For what its worth, someone mentioned using rear eradispeeds to match the look around the car.. I dont think that would work because these are Cad plated and the Baers are zinc plated.. would look funny with gold on the front and silver out back.. A better alternative for the backs would the KVR rotors since they are cad plated as well (of course this is for people that are also concerned with visuals)
These are 13" rotors.. right?

I'll try and answer these questions best as I can. Lou is on the road to Long Beach to compete in the Long Beach Trans AM race this weekend.
The bracket is made of T56 aluminum and have heard that they will be offered in anodized black. But I really dunno why. You can't see it. And sorry, no pics available ...
Not sure if it's a 'Vette rotor or not.
Just a hair shy of 13" rotors ... something like 12 7/8". Also we weighed one, but for the life of me I can't recall. Seems like it was 19lbs, but please don't hold me to that.

I am the one who wants the Eraderspeed rear, the primary reason is the Eraderspeed are better rotors than KVR and Powerslots. I have read in this forum that both Powerslot and KVR rotor cracks.
Color matching is minor, function is more important. Too bad, LGM don't make a rear set.
For $499 a pair, I definitely will stand in line for a set.

Anything's possible but that would be a very small chance.

Awesome car stoppie chris!
So...$500 gets us 2 rotors and a bracket? Hrm. Aren't the eradispeeds cheaper than that?

the eradispeeds arent almost 13"'s (12.8"), they are stock dimentions. and baer will tell you they are not intended for autocross, or lapping sesions (asked them personally @ the Power Tour). Lou designed this kit for abuse at auto-x and lapping sesions at your local track. these are also 1.24" thick with directional vanes, cad plated, cast holes (not drilled). $500 gets you the brackets and rotors, from there on, you only need to purchase the replacement rotors (once every year to year and a half for use road racers w/ aggresive pads).
buy the eradispeeds if you feel they are a better purchase, buy LG's kit if you want better brakes and rotors.

Re: LG Motorsports "G-Stop" Big Brakes - Pricing and Availabilty
Hi guys,
I jst want to let you all know that under harsh racing conditions ANY rotor will eventually crack. My rotors on my race car only get about 250 miles before they need replacing, but we abuse them more that you can imagine on a street course braking from 170+ down to 30mph.
We are looking for increased life for you guys on the race track. Mitch, Glen and Mike are going to put them to the test so I am sure that they will let us know.
On the bright side, they are 1 1/4 " thick and 12.86 diameter with enough mass to take quite a bit of heat.
The more agressive the pad compound, the shorter the life of any rotor. So keep that in mind. I think we have at least 2 pad types in the upcoming tests.
Thanks again, and we should have kits ready to ship in 2 weeks.
