Alignment after installing Eibach's
I'm having a Pro-Kit and a Panhard Bar installed next week.. Should I get an alignment after install? Or should I wait until the springs adjust? I have been told both, which is true?

Re: Alignment after installing Eibach's
After the springs are in you will have to align it, take it to someone that offers a guarantee on their work. Pick the most reputable shop with the longest guarantee and take it to them. That way when the springs settle you can just take it back and have them redo the alignment -cough- It was their fault RIGHT!
this will save you're tires and hopefully if you don't exceed their guarantee time or milage, the cost of the second alignment!

FYI. firestone is offering lifetime alignment for something like $150. maybe less. used it twice already.

Re: Alignment after installing Eibach's
Listen guys, the ONLY alignment change with lowering the car will be more NEGATIVE camber and that's a GOOD thing!
I agree that the alignment should be checked, just to see what you are running, but there are absolutely no dangerous changes that would require IMMEDIATE alignment after a lowering spring installation. It is perfectly safe to drive the car for awhile to allow the suspension to settle into it's final state before checking the alignment.
For alignment settings, look at this:

Find a decent shop ... NOT Firestone/Goodyear that will align the car to YOUR specs without giving you grief over it not being "Factory".
Good Luck,
