I think that's how you spell it, anyway the cheap kumho steet tire.
I am thinking about buying a set but the reviews aren't the greatest. They are about $180 cheaper than anything else though.
My other choices would be:
Dunlop SP 8000
BFG g-force KDW
Kumho MX
Bridgestone RE730
Does anyone have any experience with any of the above tires?

yeah thats them the 712's
I have them, cant really complain since theyre so damn cheap 113 a piece from tirerack at a 275/40/17
the tires hold up great for street use, I also cut a 1.997 60ft time with them, but most of that was due to great track prepping at Norwalk.
They have a weak sidewall compared to some other tires, which is what leaves me something to be desired, since I autocross regularly.
but you really cant beat em on the street, I have at least 15kmiles on mine, and they have at least 40% tread left.
If you dont race, get em,I dont think you will be dissapointed.
if you do race, then i guess it depends on what type of racing you do, and how serious you are about racing.

I had a set on my last car, and i was totally pleased, for the price "you" pay there isn't in my opinion a better tire.

Just Mounted and Balanced a Pair of the Kumho 712's the other day. I must say that I was most pleased. I was not about to pay 200 each for a freakin tire in the front of the car.
Call TireRack: I got a pair of the Tires shipped to my door for 240.78$. Not a bad deal IMO

WOW, it's a good thing you got outta there. That parking lot looked slippery!
The Kumho Ecstas pretty much suck for all out straight line performance on the rears. It's best to roll into them. You can blow them off pretty easily but they hang like a **** on the street or at least enough to scare the shpoop out of unsuspecting passengers.
Definitely a good street tire for the money. I just wish they made bigger sizes.

Get some Potenza RE730's.... Best tires ive used in a while... Relatively cheap, and grip better than i expected... 285/40's on my SS all around.. Look great too...
