I've been thinking about getting a line lock for my A4 Z28 before I do any quarter mile runs with it, but it seems like the line lock is only worth it for an M6 car. I think the only benefit it would have for an A4 car would be it's help in not putting too much strain on the rear drivetrain and rotors. Is a line lock worth it for an A4 car? Thanks in advance for the info.

YES! It will keep the back brakes from getting torn up.

Thunder Racing has a complete kit with pre-bent lines and wiring for I believe $215.00

I had one on my M6 car and it helped to evenly heat the tires and keep the car straight during the burnout.

The line lock on my A4 is one of my favorite mods. I don't feel like I am tearing the car up as much when I do my burnout, and the car just sits perfectly still, I love it

line locks are mainly for burnout purposes so the car doesnt move all around...making more consistent burnouts.
