Default Which sub-frame connectors would you recommend?

Hi, from your experience, which sub-fram connetors would you recommend? I've been esearching thm and they vary in price and shape a lot and am confused as to which one will do the best job. The only other suspension mod I have done is the 3-point strut tower brace.

Thanks

I recommend Kenny Brown Double Diamonds. Strongest design & they weigh 32lbs. Plus they tuck up as well as any SFC out there....Made a world of difference on my car.

I vote for the BMR box SFC I have them but they are very noticable. Heard bad things about Kenny Brown DD. There design on paper is good but the build is not as strong. But that is only what I have heard. I have allso seen the 3point STB do damage to cars. Just my .02 cents

i have the low profile bmr tubular sfc's the price is right, they dont decrease clearance at all, and they made a noticeable difference on handling.

Another vote for KB DD SFC's. Best mod suspension wise I made. Made the car feel so much more stable and solid at higher speed.

I have the SLP DDiamond weld in sub frames,
They look identical to the Kenny Brown brand to me.

They work very well

Pretty sure the SLPs weigh more though. Good price on the SLPs though and you can get the bolt in ones which you can do yourself instead of the weld ins.

First, you need to address what you are going to do with the car? If you are going to do mostly Drag Racing, I highly recommend rectangular SFCs, as they hold the loads placed by launching better. If you are going to do Road Racing or very little Drag Racing (mostly street use), then go with a tubular design. These allow the need flex a body needs when taking turns, but maintains the rigidness you are seeking. After that address the issues of how they look and fit, then go with a company you feel comfortable with.

Having said that, I have rectangular custom made SFCs on my SS. But my Z28 will have Chrome-Moly tubular SFCs, since it will be Road Raced hard.

All, JMHO.

If your willing to go with the weld in style, the KB's can make the car even stiffer than the SLP's can. The box tubing on the SLP's is larger and they are heavier, but the leverage geometry of the KB's more than compensates.Because there are more attachment points, closer together, the KB's can provide more resistance to flex with a less massive frame.Doesn't change the handling much more, does change the perception of solidity much more.

BMR !! I have installed both of them. I LIKE the BMR'S. They tuck up nice and I really like the way the the rear mounting plate where the lower arm attaches. They have a good solid plate which gives me plenty to weld on and tie into. Also on the BMR'S are painted so after we weld them in blends on the paint are easy. I do not like the KB'S as much ( I have removed some before and put on BMR'S. I always on the KB'S cut and weld in the center support rather than bolting in.

Just installed the BMR Boxed style this morning. They seem to fit just perfect to me. They make a world of difference.
Also installed BMR STB, Adj LCA's, LCA relocation brackets, and Adj Panhard bar at the same time. Talk about a noticeable traction difference. The Spohn T.A. w/DSL will be here Thursday..
