Re: LCA poly/rod and rod/rod
I started out with poly/rod combos & now use only the rod/rod combo.
The poly will squeek unless you lube it very regularly .....AND, many of the suppliers of poly/rod combos do not use high quality teflon lined rod ends ......THEY RATTLE !!!!
The PPC rod/rod LCAs & PHB are dead quiet & I really can't tell a difference in transmitted road noise. I have them on my daily driver (100 miles/day EVERY day...).

Re: LCA poly/rod and rod/rod
The PPC LCAs are the ones I want, but theyre not adjustbale right? I was either going with PPC or the G2 because of the adjustability.
My car is lowered close to 3 inches(for looks) and thought it might be nice to have the adjustability? Do you think the adjustability would be usefull?

I had my G2 LCAs since the summer. They are poly/rod. I only greased the poly side upon install. Poly still doesn't squeek and rod still doesn't rattle. I'm drive my car everyday. I'm on a 400miles per week pace. <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />

Re: LCA poly/rod and rod/rod
Well......
It's been a long time since I've had the stock stuff on the car. I'd say though, definitely no noticable noise difference with my teflon lined rod/rod combo, over a poly/rod combo that uses teflon lined ends (like the LG ones must, if they don't rattle).
I don't notice anything from them ... noise wise, but I have Bilsteins & springs which transmit a little more noise, plus my diff is noisy.

Re: LCA poly/rod and rod/rod
I have the G2 poly/rod LCAs, and the poly bushings make more noise than the rod ends do. I'm getting some wheel hop and some binding in the bushings, so I just ordered a set of the aluminum rod/rod G2s. The aluminum panhard rod will soon follow.

your LCA's are $210. but you offer a clear powder coating as an option. how much is that and is it necessary? would the normal or base finish discolor or rust if not powdercoated?

$50 for the LCAs
$40 for the PHB
The arms are bare machined billet aluminum, so rust is not an issue. The only reason to powder coat them is if you want them to stay all shiney & neat-o looking.
The powder coating can be done in clear (so they stay looking like polished aluminum), black, red, yellow & blue. Special colors can be done but cost quite a bit more.
