A friend helped me install a set of Eibachs, Prokit. I didnt replace the shocks though, just used the stock ones.
When i go over speed bumps, the rear end CLANKS..CLUNKS, what the heck is it? even on a lil dip, the rear end will make that noise, and its annoying? sombody please help....

I was getting a pretty good "thump" after lowering my 2002 Z-28 and thougth it might be the lower panhard rod hitting the upper panhard rod over hard bumps (or during a hard 1-2 shift on slightly bumpy pavement). I never managed to locate the actual point of impact, but I turned my rear Koni DA's up 2 more clicks of compression damping and it seems to be cured. Maybe the softer setting allowed the tire and axle to "bounce" enough to cause problems (now that there is less distance between axle and frame) but the extra damping seems to have fixed it. I set of aftermarket shocks may cure yours as well (since the stock shocks are underdamped for stock springs and the stock ride heigth. You may look at your panhard rod for signs of impact (as well as other suspension parts). Just my experiences....not sure if it will be any help. Good luck!

All three of things could be a problem...all we did, was take the bottom bolt off the rear shock, so we could get the spring out...we put the spring in, lifted the axle a bit, and bolted the shock back up...now what is the prob? I will check the panhard rod for damage...I did notice the "bump stops" are pretty darn close to the axle...could that be the noise? it does it even on bumps on the street...its freakin annoying, sombody please help?

I doubt you'll find any damage to the upper panhard rod if the exhuast is touching it, the clunking sounds more like the exhaust pipe hitting the panhard and not the bump stops, also check those shock nuts to make sure there good and tight.

I suspect the shocks can't dampen the rear axle over large bumps (it had an extra inch to slow it down before it hit the bumpstops before it was lowered). I am guessing it is hitting the chassis hard enough that the exhaust is being hit by the upper panhard rod. The axle hits a bump and starts towards the chassis, the axle then hits the chassis hard enough to "bounce" the body just enough to hit the panhard rod into the exhaust that is on "stretchy" rubber mounts. Like I said, I stiffened my shocks (which would slow the axle) and cured my problem. I think a set of stiffer shocks for the rear may cure yours as well. Just my theory....I never did see anything that seemed to make contact back there. Just my ramblings....

Officer,
I am running Koni DA's on all four corners of my car and I love them. THey are a little expensive, but worth it. YOu may look at www.ground-control.com and check out their shocks and the recommendations and prices on the website. They make race parts (and some street stuff) and are brutally honest about each shock. GOod luck.

Yes, the rubber pieces are there....can sombody ride underneath my car, while I go over a speed bump....then tell me what is hitting? I'll go slow...
