I only run cromoly washers, on my cromoly STB. It was night and day after I swapped the stainless ones out. Much flatter around street corners!

www.tastynuts.com is where I get my washers from. Their bolts aren't worth their weight in scrap...

I can't believe that I can go to that site at work. I thought they would block it for sure...

I bet they are silicone based. Problem is as they get older they tend to loose their firmness and must be replaced newer ones.

Whats the difference between a washer and your mom? The last time I dropped a load in the washer it didn't follow me around for a week.

Default Making Silver flatwashers black.

I just learned the other day that if you take anything that is zinc plated, such as just about any FLAT WASHER, dip them is a small amount of Barreling Blue, (a cleaning liquid used to clean guns and to make sure the barrel has been appropriately blued) It actually makes them turn black almost instantly!
No bullshit. I actually learned this in a woodworking book I got so of course I had to try it, and I'll be goddamned, it worked just liked it said!
So if you have something silver or zinc plated, just use a little barreling blue and it turns black instantly! Today I'll find out how long it lasts or not.

Who would have known?!

Rusch Motorsports now offers custom washer mods. Flat, cut, split, belville...
Send us your seasoned washer and we'll hand port giving a generous short side radius. Then add a 5 angle seat geometry cut with our Sunnen cutters on a mill, none of that hand ground '80s 3 angle with stones. All washer ID's CC'd to within 1/4 cc of each other. Washertrain geometry will be set and verified to OE specs.

Sorry, we arent tooled for crush washers.

Brian O'conner wouldn't approve of any of these washers, he'd just over night them from japan.

Vin Diesel fears no washer... except that thick heavy badass all american muscle washer that killed his father.
also, one time he beat a man to death with a washer. I dont know if thats true or just wishy-washery thinking.
