Any sponsors have a UMI K-member in stock?
I need a UMI K-member for my 99 SS ASAP. I'll have one shipped in another 5-7 business days from UMI but I need it shipped tomorrow. You can have mine from UMI. My car is in the shop crashed and is waiting for it. Lower A arms as well but I think UMI might have them ready now. PM me if you can help.

Yep, they are very, very busy (a good thing). Same here, but luckily for me I'm only about 40 minutes away.

Yep they have me in line but if I could cut a weeks time I would love to. I'm driving an 86 Caprice classic station wagon waiting for my car from the shop. I love UMI's stuff. My car will be almost all UMI when this is done. Only thing missing will be the upper a-arms. Rear stuff is all UMI.
Maybe I should do the upper a-arms as well but that would mean more work for the shop than just replacing the bottoms. More work means more labor charge. Anyone think they should be done? Car was in an accident is why the front end replacement.

Yes we are very busy and have a back log right now, which is a great thing but not always good for the customer but we are doing what we can to fill orders as quick as possible.
The K-Member is a large item and takes a welder up to 8 hours to weld one single k-member and this doesn't include any of the time to make the components that it is made up of. For us and many others this is the beginning of race season and our busiest months, so keeping items in stock is hard.
Chris, I am doing what I can to get you one as quick as possible, and trust me we are working overtime to fill orders. If you can find someone to trade you we will be glad to ship your k-member to him, but to find a vendor with one in stock, well we haven't found any to step up to the plate to stock these. But just keep in mind we don't cancel any orders once they are placed and production on them is started. So if you can find some to trade that is great but since your order is processed and being built we can't cancel it out. Just wanted to give you a heads up on that and trust me, it is worth the wait
Thanks everyone,
Ryan

Thankx for the heads up Ryan. I was only looking to trade and not cancel my order with you. I'm also going to add the upper a-arms as well, no real sense in not doing a complete front end swap. I'll call.
I know most of our out of their garage vendors on here dont stock parts as its a major investment, but isnt that what being in business is all about?
Maybe I should speak with you about being a vendor for UMI. I'll stock a few things and keep them on the shelf. I know as long as my prices are comparable that I wont lose money.
Crap. West coast east coast thing, your closed already today. I'll try monday first thing. If you get this before then add the upper a arms to my order please.
