Question Upgrade 2pt to 3pt sfc worth it?

Has anyone upgraded from a 2 point sfc to a 3 point sfc?? I currently dont have sfc and was thinking about buying UMIs 3 point design but I was wondering if it was any better than there 2 points as far as increasing handling, reducing sqeeks and rattles, etc.....

Should I just buy the 2 points and spend the left over money elsewhere?? Im mainly getting them to reduce my sqeeks and rattles or atleast prevent them from getting worse.

If you are not heavily racing the vehicle or running a tunnel mounted torque then the 2-Point set-up will be just fine for you.

If I can help anymore please ask. Thank you!

There is a misunderstanding here...
This thread is about SFC, not STB.

Are the weld on really that much better than the bolt on? These will be my next purchase and I could get access to a welder but it just seems like it would be nice to be able to remove them if I wanted to. I am looking at the three point "triangular design"....Thanks

For a street driven car the bolt ins are just fine. If the car is seeing the track quite often we recommend to have them welded. The nice thing about that set-up is the bolt ons can be welded at any when needed. Many customers purchase the bolt on set-ups, install them there selfs and at a later date take the car in and have them welded.

If I can help anymore please ask. Thank you!

I have UMI 2 pt bolt ins and have had zero problems so far. They're pretty simple to put in. They tightened the car up really well.

It is not worth the money to change from a 2 pt to a 3 pt. I bought 3 pt boxed(SLP) so they act as skid plates when I hit ****, because I'm lowered.
