how is the caliper working with the stock master cylinder? any issues with pedal stroke or not enough pedal to fill up all those pistons? looks great, this will be my brake upgrade after the 18's!

Default 3rd Gen Question

How would you get those rotors and calipers installed on a 3rd gen? Is it even possible? Modified spindle?

Thanks,
Michael

Sry there is a c5 kit for the thirdgen but if a c5 kit will work a c6 will also cause I think the calipers bolt up to the same bracket if im not mistaken.

Was there a large difference in wheel clearance when going to the Z06 setup? I have maybe 3/4" of clearance over the stock caliper with my wheels... any hopes of squeezing those calipers in there in your opinion?

Yes there is a huge difference in clearance. The only way to know is to take some measurements though.

Don't waste your time trying to upgrade/change your rear brakes.

I'm happy to see threads back to the top, it means people are actually doing a search instead of asking another question on the same topic. It increases the info in one post and increases the odds that a future person searching will find the answers they are looking for. It's a welcome development and an overall improvement for the board and the people that use it.

The package that I found on ebay for around $1600, comes with all 4 calipers rotors and pads, so I thought I might as well use them.

And the wheels used by the OP of that thread, where did he get them? I like them much better than C6 Z06s
