Default QA1 Shocks make a difference in my launch??

How much difference does the QA1 shocks make over the stock shocks when launching. I basically wanted to get that front end to come up more. I heard the QA1 coil overs would do the job. Does it make a huge difference like everyone say thow?? I already removed the front sway bar and I'm currently running front runners. My suspension is aftermarket except the k-member and the stock shocks.

We have very good luck with the QA1 set-up. We usually run QA1's in the rear with factory springs and a coil over up front. If you need any help please ask, we will be in tomorrow 9:00am until 1:00 pm EST if you have any questions we can help with. Also have a Black Friday sale tomorrow too

They really make that much of a difference then huh? Those comp eng. out the back will those be to rough for street driving. It's mostly just a weekend toy. So the comp.eng out the back set at 50/50 then the coil overs up front? Do you know what spring rate I need?

yes big difference.thier cheap but they work.not 2 rough.out back you can use your stock springs upfront either run the 275 or the 300spring rate from qa1.I run these on both my cars.

11.69 @ 117.93 w/ a 1.649 60 foot...HUGE difference.

Yes they will. The back ones (turned up high) will stop the loss of energy from driving the rear end up into the car & be used to propel the car forward instead. And eliminate wheel hop. The fronts (turned down low) will allow the front end to come up and transfer weight to the rear tires. All good things for launching hard.

Hey guys, about three months ago i put the QA1's and 300lb springs in front with the stock springs in the rear. I have the fronts set at like 2 clicks and the rears at like 7 and it feels like every time i hit it the front wheels wanna come off the ground, its soo badass. I havent had a chance to go to the track yet but, i was just wondering what should they be set on when id go to the track? I was thinking like 2 in the front and maybe 10 in the rear? What are the best combinations that yall have tried?

Yep, once installed just use the appropriate size spanner wrench on the lower mount. The shock body is threaded. Just run the screw the mount up or down to adjust ride height. Be sure to use LOTS of antiseize on the threads to make adjustments a lot easier.

When you install the fronts, make sure to get the bearing plate available for them. It makes the adjustment a lot easier.
