Question Idea on custom TT2's: Need opinions

Siver Ghost has just gotten new equipment to do bigger powdercoating jobs and I had an idea and need opinions.
I love my car, but like most of us, want something "different" that makes my car semi-unique. I have a pewter WS6 with TT2's. It looks hot, but it also looks like 2-3 other WS6's here in San Antonio. I was considering having Silver Ghost powder coat my rims like the TT D anthracite, but in a candy red instead (polished rim and cap. I can't quite picture it in my head, and am photoshop ignorant. But I think it may look good and would be unique. And I'm tired of polishing my TT2's all the time.

Opinions?

There was a thread a while back in the Wheels and Tires section where a guy had his TT2s powdercoated candy red. They didn't turn out looking as well as the could have, mostly because the color didn't really match his already red car.

I tried to search, but it seems the search function is borked again.

Ron I will try to PM you tonite on a couple other custom ideas. I can do the red you asked about but I will look at a few other things you might like to set the car apart as well.

That pic above that is real small looks like anodized red powder rather than a candy powder but its hard to tell without a bigger pic.

But everyone has that. I want something different, but not too gaudy

I can see how some people think that. (I bet you HATE the blue rims on the anniversary models) I try to be open minded as much as possible. I still remember the first time someone suggested Torque Thrusts on a late model f-body they were ragged on how crappy that would look, then when A/R made them, the first guy back at the old f-body.org who had them got flamed on how ugly they looked on a "modern" car.

But thanks for color suggestions, though. Just trying to think of something that looks unique/eye catching and not too gaudy. Any other suggestions welcome. And I understand that What one guy loves, another hates. (Like I can't stand the hugger orange anniversary camaros but yet I like the purple WS6 T/A's)

BTW-Thanks for the PS pic! I still dunno if I like it or not.

I can't find one single picture, but I remember the original Mr Gasket/hurst concept WS6 was pewter with Gold TT2's. I wish I could find a pic! Done a million searches for it today.
