Default OK calling out all 11 second LS1s

Hey guys/gals SNS Drag Racing has a heads up race once a month at HMP and it pays $600.00 to win and I think $200.00 to the runner up. The reason I bring this up is because it's a very well organized race and lots of fun. They added a new 7.50 (1/8 mile) class which is about an 11.70-11.80 depending on the weather and the vehicle. This class is also a .500 pro-tree so there is no need to have a transbrake to be competitive. It's a good opportunity to make some $$ and have a blast doing it. They have faster classes also. I just thought the would be a lot of cars here that fit in the class.

They also give out trophys (yeah!!!!!!)

The link to the site is http://www.snsdragracing.com/

Come on out and play! The next race is April 4th.

Yeah they tried that last year, they had to cut that class out due to lack of people.

The class had a real good turn out at the last race, but since it's now on a .500 pro-tree the LS1 street cars can compete and be very competitive.

I know there are a ton of cars that can run the number so lets go play!

I wish it was closer too . All we have are 5.50, 6.0, 7.0, and 8.0. So if I ever go to a index race here I'll have to play the top end .

No, anything that fits into the rules. Also the reason that not so many people showed up last year was because the majority of the cars that would compete in that class are footbrakers and it was on a .400 pro tree, they have now changed it to .500 pro so we(footbrakers) can be competitive.

See yall out there!

James, good to see you and Sheila today at NHRA. We need to get together and drink a beer soon. I've got some Delco Ultra Gold "long" oil filters from my old LS1 days if you want them. They've been kept indoors, so they're in great shape. Drop me a line and they're yours.

It was cool to see you again man! It's been way too long.

Let's get together and I'm all over the filters if you don't need them.

You really need to pick up another LS1 and get back in the game.

Man if ya'll didn't make it out there, you missed some good racing. My son Bryan won the 7.50 class with our 11 second SS. It was his first time to get to run the car since we added all the bolt-ons and Circle D converter and transmission. He adjusted well and got the job done.

It was some tough racing, but the race was very organized and moved pretty quick for the number of cars there.

The F-Body group represented well.
