Texas: Answers for ALL your window tint questions...
We at DPS have tried to make the window tint law as clear as possible with this page from our website. I know alot of folks know the law pretty well, but for the few that don't and may have questions here you go:
http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/vi/Misc...htm#inspection
It explains the process for proper inspection procedures and then clarifies the actual law itself. Hope this helps out. Most of the troopers in your area should be carrying around window tint meters. If you are worried about the level of your tint, just go by your local office and have them check it. Hope this good information that helps alot of people.

You can halfway see my front windshield tint in this one. I had the guy run it down to the bottom of the rearview mirror. A good bit below the AS1 line. The car was all done in limo..sucked trying to see out at night but that was my only complaint.
